Receive parcels in Austrian Post's reusable packaging
Sustainability is a top priority for us, and has long been part of our day-to-day business at Austrian Post. In addition to the CO2-neutral delivery of all mail items in Austria, the country's largest electric vehicle fleet and the environmentally friendly construction of logistics facilities, reusable packaging is becoming increasingly important in the face of booming e-commerce. There are many different types, sizes and materials of packaging. Austrian Post's reusable Loop packaging is the next level of sustainability for your orders. You return the empty packaging, which is then prepared and returned to circulation. The packaging can be reused up to 30 times.
Here’s how the Post Loop packaging cycle works:
How can I return the reusable Post Loop packaging?
Just follow these easy steps: download the app, fold the empty packaging, find a return location, scan the bar code on the flap and post the empty packaging. The reusable packaging can also be used for returning goods. For detailed information, please see below.
How to return empty packaging:
- Fold the side panels inward and collapse the package
- Close the Velcro fastener (the return label is integrated)
- Scan the QR code and download the app
- Find a return location, e.g., a letter box
- Scan the packaging and receive a reward
- Drop the folded packaging into a letter box, leave it at an Austrian Post self-service area, or take it to an Austrian Post branch
How to return the packaging with goods:
- Seal the front and secure the sides with tape
- Process the return according to the online shop’s instructions
- Drop it off at an Austrian Post drop-off point
