Austria has many different landscapes to offer. This souvenir sheet includes beautiful landscape motifs that were previously released as dispenser stamps.
The impressive Krimml Waterfalls are Austria’s highest waterfalls. The Krimmler Ache river flows down almost 400 meters over three levels. The picturesque town of Seewinkel, located to the east of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland, stands out for its salty ponds that are home to many rare plant and animal species. Dachstein Mountain is located between the provinces of Salzburg, Upper Austria, and Styria. Gondolas provide easy access to the Dachstein glacier, which offers many hiking and climbing options. The Blockheide nature reserve is located in the Lower-Austrian Waldviertel region near Gmünd. It offers legendary rocking stones and numerous bizarre granite formations.
