80th anniversary of Cardinal Schönborn and day of issue of the postcard set "Jubilee 2025"

The special post office event celebrating Cardinal Christoph Schönborn's 80th birthday was very well attended. During the event, the postcard set “Jubilee 2025” was presented to Cardinal Christoph Schönborn by Wilhelm Remes, President of the St. Gabriel Philately Association.

Postcard set "Jubilee 2025“

2025 marks a Jubilee Year for the Catholic Church. Pope Francis has dedicated this Jubilee, which began on 24 December 2024, to the theme “Pilgrims of Hope”. In light of wars, isolation, and injustice around the world, Pope Francis calls for signs of hope. This central message is already reflected in the papal bull “Spes non confundit”, issued on 9 May 2024.
