ÖVEBRIA 2023 and Marke & Münze 2023 trade shows

The trade show has been around for more than 30 years, and has been held every two years since 1999. This year, "Marke + Münze" took place, for the sixth time, together with ÖVEBRIA, which always attracts a lot of attention given its competition exhibition and large exchange area. It's an excellent opportunity for discussing and sharing experiences with like-minded stamp and coin enthusiasts!

The motto of the "Marke + Münze 2023" was "Holiday" - after all, we all need a change of scenery once in a while! In collaboration with the Graz tourist region, the ME3 souvenir sheet "Holidays in the Graz adventure region" was issued on the occasion of the trade fair. This year there was also a drawing competition at the Seiersberg primary school - from the many great children's drawings, two motifs were issued as personalised stamps.

During ÖVEBRIA, the first day of issue of the "Day of Stamps" stamp takes place every year, the premium of which is used to promote philately. Four other special stamps also had their day of issue at "Marke + Münze 2023": three stamps from the new "Sport in motion" series present the disciplines of pole vaulting, javelin throwing and hurdling, and this year's EUROPA stamp on the theme of peace is more topical than ever.
