Solidarity is the order of the day

Since late February 2022, war has been raging in a European country not far from Austria. Millions of people are affected by the consequences, directly and indirectly, whether on the ground or as refugees from the fighting. A wave of solidarity and willingness to help is palpable throughout Europe, and this unity, despite everything, gives hope, because many people want to actively show that they care and want to help. It is clear to see that help in any form and on any scale is urgently needed.

With the semi-postal stamp "Together for Peace", which was presented on 31 March 2022, we too want to help provide support to those affected. The stamp has a face value of 1 euro for postage within Europe, the full premium of 2 euros goes to the organisations "NACHBAR IN NOT" and UNICEF Austria (50%, respectively). The motif of the stamp shows the Ukrainian flag with the imprint "HELP for UKRAINE".

With the proceeds from this stamp, Austrian Post was able to collect a donation amounting to € 47,124. 23,562 euros each were now handed over to the representatives of the two aid organisations.
