Letters for business customers

Send your business correspondence such as quotes, invoices, payment reminders, documents, contracts, and small goods using our inexpensive and reliable letter-mail service. Your items will reach the recipient within 2 to 3 business days from the day of posting.

Posting locations
Letters can be posted at any of the more than 1,750 Austrian Post service locations. They can also be posted in one of our 14,000 letterboxes.

If you post larger quantities (approx. 2,500 items and up) directly at our large-volume branches and distribution centres, you will benefit from particularly fast processing and any available discounts.

When time is of the essence, send your items with the Premium additional service. At least 95% of Premium letters are delivered the next business day within Austria.

For particularly important items, you can use simple registered mail or registered mail with optional extras such as delivery to addressee only, advice of receipt, do not deliver to persons authorised to receive mail, etc. The Premium service can be combined with all other additional services.

You have the following franking options for your letter mail:

Cash franking impression
Recommended for larger volumes. Please enter your customer details, the number of items, and their weight in the Letter Posting List or use our software. A minimum of 20 items per format applies for cash-franked mail.

Franking machine
Post items franked with a franking machine at any Austrian Post counter or in a letterbox (Premium service items may be posted at an Austrian Post counter only).

Stamps
Especially eye-catching for recipients and adds a special touch to your mailing. However, Premium service items cannot be franked with stamps.

How to determine the correct rate level (Letter S, Letter M, Packet S, Packet M) for your letter-mail item:

Item weight
Format (Easily determine the correct format using our format template)
Machine processability yes/no – Non-machine-readable items are charged at the next higher rate level.
