Day of issue of the commemorative stamp "200-year anniversary of Lobmeyr"

To mark the 200-year anniversary of the traditional Austrian company Lobmeyr, Austrian Post is issuing a commemorative stamp in the “Traditional brands” series. The stamp motif shows a muslin glass service by Josef Hoffmann from 1917. For 200 years, Lobmeyr Vienna has been producing glass in a variety of forms. Exclusive lighting concepts, high-quality mirrors as well as hand-blown, hand-cut glasses, vases and accessories are produced here. Lobmeyr's most famous pieces include the crystal chandelier in the auditorium of the Vienna State Opera and the custom-made chandelier for the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
