ECO letters for business clients
Use our ECO letter service to send your business mail such as quotes, invoices, payment reminders, documents, contracts and small merchandise - it's inexpensive and reliable. Your items will reach their recipient 2 to 3 business days after posting.
Posting locations
ECO letters can be posted at any of the more than 1,750 Austrian Post service locations. ECO letters can also be posted in one of our 14,000 letterboxes.
If you post larger quantities (approx. 2,500 items and up) directly at our large-volume branches and distribution centres, you will benefit from particularly fast processing and any available discounts.
For particularly important ECO items, you can use simple registered mail or registered mail as well as other additional services such as delivery to addressee only, advice of receipt, do not deliver to persons authorised to receive mail, etc.
Postage paid indicium
Recommended for larger volumes. Please enter your customer details, number and weight of items in the ECO letter posting list or use our software. When posting items with a postage paid indicium, a minimum volume of 20 items per format applies.
Postage paid by franking machine
Post your ECO letters franked with a franking machine at any Austrian Post counter or in any Austrian Post letterbox.
- Stamps: they are sure to get the recipient's attention and add a special note to your item
How to find the right rate (letter S, letter M, packet S, packet M) for your letter-mail item:
- Item weight
- Format (just use our sizing template to determine the right format)
- Machine processability yes/no – for non-machine processable items, we will charge the next higher rate
